Since becoming a Mom, I’ve found that it’s imperative to manage my time effectively especially since I don’t have a lot of uninterrupted time to myself. These days using the bathroom alone is kind of a big deal, LOL! There’s always something to be done around the house. The to-do lists are endless from grocery shopping to doing laundry, to teaching, and playing with and bathing a stubborn toddler! Whew, I’m exhausted just thinking about everything to do. Managing a house and taking care of a kid(s) is a full time job on top of my actual full time job so often times as Moms our health and fitness tends to take a back seat.
I don’t know about you, but after work I have to cook, clean and get a toddler ready for the next day. To spend an hour or two in the gym is just not practical in this current phase of my life. But I also want to be healthy as well as look good and feel good. Luckily, I’ve found three 20 minute workouts that are amazing! I love them because you can do them at home with or without the kids. They make you feel like you are about to die, which in this case is good, because you want to use your time wisely and feel like you’ve accomplished something! Also, the workouts on YouTube are free!
1. 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels
This is a DVD that can be purchased online. It’s been out for a while and is a very effective workout. I used this DVD on and off for years, especially around the time of my wedding. This workout still kicks my butt!
2. Relentless Jake-You tube
This work out is no joke! It will have you out of breath and gasping for air, Lol!
3. Class Fitsugar-You tube
I tried this workout for the first time today and thought to myself that this woman is crazy! She has you doing stuff that you didn’t even know your body was capable of doing, Lol!
