If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12:26
Imagine a work environment or just group where all women supported each other. Where the success of one, was recognized and celebrated by many. One where women gossiped less, and hate didn’t exist amongst us, an existence where we stopped allowing the opinions of others to invade our thoughts and beliefs. Above all, we are women. That is one of our main commonalities. It’s what unites us, and should encourage us to look out for each other more. We don’t recognize the disservice that we do to ourselves, by not uplifting the women around us. In the work place especially, we can become catty, two-faced, and unsupportive of each other easily. We have a habit of speaking poorly of other women, more than we speak life into them. How can we expect to grow or be blessed, when participating in such awfulness?
This week, lets each vow to make a personal change. There will always be those that we may not 100% like, but it doesn’t mean that we still cant congratulate and support each other. It especially doesn’t mean that we have to speak ill of one another. We must learn to clap for each other, because that clapping builds the self-esteem of each of us, while strengthening the maturity of all of us.
