Matthew 8:24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. (Jesus rested)
We parent, we work, we take care of homes, manage grown adults (significant others), attend classes, and so much more every day; so today’s message is to take a break. Whatever that special moment is for you, take it and start taking it more often, because you need it. As women, caretakers, employees and mothers we often feel guilty for taking a moment out for ourselves, but we shouldn’t. Taking time for you, helps to replenish your spirit and physical body. There is only so much that any of us can do before we break down, so let’s prevent that breakdown by getting ahead with some pre-planned breaks. Find some time during your breaks at work to sit quietly and just be a peace with yourself. In the mornings, wake up five minutes earlier to meditate. At night, take an extra half hour to read a good book and settle your mind.
Take some time this week to plan a movie day, massage, girls night, morning run, or whatever else rejuvenates you!!! Just make sure that you take your moment. We all have to find the time to carve out for ourselves.
