“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.”
1 Corinthians 15:33
We can make plans and then actually step forward to execute them, but if we aren’t surrounded by the right people, then those perfect plans may never happen. One of the hardest things for many of us to understand is the need for separation. Everyone that’s there at the beginning of our journey, is not always meant to stay to the end. The people that we surround ourselves with, are the energy that we ourselves absorb. You can be one of the most positive people in the world, but with negative energy around you, you’ll always fall behind. When making major moves in your life, or simply embarking on a new journey, there may be times where you must alter your surroundings. It doesn’t always mean that the people in your circle are poisoning you, but that sometimes we simply outgrown each other or need to take different paths. When this occurs stay positive, be understanding of it, and continue to move in the direction that you need to go.
This week, begin to look at the things and people in your life that are holding you hostage. Identify them and eliminate them. Your dreams are too precious to miss out on.
Fire False Friends as early as possible. Do it before they dig out the dream seeds you’ve planted! The earlier, the better; the quicker, the safer!
