Last week we discussed making a plan and moving forward with it. Today, the message is to, “Be Brave.” We create great plans, and start working on the beginning steps of them, until that nasty thing called fear shows up. Many of us allow that fear to either derail us, or to stop us completely, but we shouldn’t and can’t continue to let it rule us. Fear is a distraction sent to sabotage all of your hard work. Setbacks, bumps in the road, and a ton of other things happen along the way of getting to our dreams and achieving our goals, but they aren’t meant to stop us. I believe the saying, “What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger,” is true! That’s exactly where strength rises up from. Strength is a challenge that has been overcome, and a fear that is no longer scary.
The next time you feel fear creeping up in your mind, stomach, or wherever it tries to slide out from, pray. Allow Your faith to outweigh your fears. Every morning that fear shows it’s ugly head, read an affirmation out loud to yourself. The best way to beat fear is to face it, but you don’t have to do it alone. Take your prayers, affirmations, and positive energy to strike it down. Be brave Monumentals!
